Meet Malcolm Grant
I’m Malcolm. I left pilot training to follow my interest in cars, studied at Universal Technical Institute and earned a place in Mercedes-Benz Drive.
While working in small shops, I helped a stranded family get their car running and make it home. I loved cars already. Helping people became the reason to keep doing the work.
At a Mercedes-Benz dealership, I completed the Master Technician courses, tests and certifications, but left before meeting the tenure requirement. I did not receive the official Master Technician designation.
Walking away after that investment was hard. I wanted to feel as good about how customers were treated as I did about my repairs. I moved to a family-owned European shop where I still work full time.
I inspect cars through European Auto Audit daily from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM Central, limited to one inspection per weekday. You deal directly with me, from booking to the findings.
